The units need a refresh for sure. And if long time owners have not planned for, well we need to move forward anyway.

You know what they say about the best laid plans of mice or men… unfortunately, no matter how much one plans, sometimes life gets in the way.

Long time owners made the club the success it is today, and I wouldn’t dismiss them that easily.

Maybe the logical way to go about this is for the board to layout several different refurbishment plans at different price points. The membership is going to vote on this. Having options might yield the best result.

    I think that’s a great idea!

Cindy…. thanks for your very timely answer.

I hope at the end of the week when the Board is finished, the assessment fee will be published for all of us to see.

Quite honestly, as only one member, a little bit of paint on the walls to freshen up the unit, and I, personally, would be good to go.

With all the new fees, members are becoming very anxious, and being an older group, many live on fixed incomes.

I’d hate to see long time owners having to sell for financial reasons.

    Again… thank you.

Kevin… just for clarification since there seems to be some confusion.

Along with the 8% maintenance fee increase, how quickly will the “over 3 year period” assessment for renovations be put into place? And, will the assessment be the maintenance per year for each unit one owns?

    Thanks!
