MAE123ParticipantI too think this needs to be addressed by the board please. We should not be “picking” the pockets of our members when a swap is benefiting the club- housekeeping is happy and so are the new members coming in to their unit which will be ready sooner ! I would like to see the board address this here please – let’s see something not so high as a double fee! MAE123ParticipantBeen a member since 85 and one night is plenty for me. The BAR can have their 11 pm but then shut it down. First , everyone has a different position so don’t shoot me. I come to relax at the beach. I get up early and go to bed at 10. I don’t want a high riser atmosphere, I like the laid back vacation. Life is too stressful at home so that is what I like. I think there are others that like that kind of vacation too, so you have the one night. Plus remember the Club is built around the bar and pool, so you can not escape this Noise. It is what it is. Yes I have gone, and I am good when watching the singers THEN we get the pouring booze down peoples throats and making them “grind” for it. Feel like I am in a bad bar B movie. So that is my opinion and I would vote NO to another night of that. But I would not take away one night for those who like it and feel they can go as a family to it.- 06/18/2019 at 9:20 pm

MAE123ParticipantI am sorry you had to go to the front desk. The rule is till 11 and most of the time it is over at 11. I don’t think it is fair for people to say go down and join them. I think if people want to go they go, if you are not someone who parties . please don’t try to tell someone to just go- I have been and I would rather not go again. I am not sure when it gets late if this is Child Friendly either. But I am sure as others have said it was due to the wedding- you should be allowed your vacation time just like others. MAE123ParticipantI would also be interested in any NEWS…. I have rented our unit in week 41 and I never said anything to the renters but I would like to let them know what is going on. Also were we going to be shown or told of the renovations? It seems that it is awful quiet- just would like to hear directly from the board or the management. Thank you..- 02/27/2018 at 1:01 am

MAE123ParticipantDear Kevin- as I don’t understand the theory behind the $35 fee, BUT -I just pass it on to my renter. My thought is , isn’t better that people RENT their units and have them occupied so that their spending habits at our shops and restaurant benefit all of us? To leave a unit empty seems like a loss of revenue for ABC? I don’t think anyone is getting RICH by renting their units if they cant come that year. It just seems like a nickel and dime situation.But I would like to confirm, that if I am an owner of a week, and I am staying in one unit and my children come and I sign them in to my second unit and place my CC and have them as “authorized names” on the sign in, then I DO NOT HAVE TO PAY THE $35 fee to changed names, as I am the one listed on that week? Please confirm????

MAE123ParticipantI would like to suggest perhaps a two burner stove top instead of a 4 burner to create some extra room at that counter top with the sink and stove top. It is much too tight there , and you really only need 2 burners . Just a thought.- 03/04/2017 at 2:12 pm

MAE123Participantthank you for replying…may I ask a follow up please. Regarding Agenda #4- if the question is to ALLOW CDM members access, should that have not been the flag right there? As board members who are elected to serve and protect the members of ABC rights, and ABC ONLY- there should never have been a ballot question to remove a members right in favor of another resort? No matter who asked! It would seem that the question can ONLY benefit another resort as the board clearly knows that many do not do the Convocation as they believe the BOARD in the end will do the right thing and protect THEM. Just an observation, not an attack. Can one explain how something of this magnitude -against the owners of ABC ONLY- could have reached this point. I am thinking perhaps it was done to quiet those who condemn our policy and to show it is the majority of the FULL membership that does indeed want this? Again I am not aware of what transpired to bring this to the ballot , so I and others are just looking for an explanation on why? thank you again.
