    Not only did they stop the project, I watched the workers dismantling (destroying) the concrete piers. And I have photos to prove it. I tried to post them but an admin refused because “it would be too controversial.”

    “Luis: As per the last email I received from Cindy, the Vice Chairman of the Board, if you own 2 or more units in a week and you, as the owner, register them and put your credit card, you don’t have to pay the $ 35.00.”

    I was told by another owner that is how he did it, no problem.

    from week 13 2017 members meeting notes:
    “We also have a new referral program in place whereby if you refer someone to the ABC, they buy and have paid in full you will receive $25.00 to use at Ricardo’s.”

    Chump change in my opinion because if ABC sells a unit on their own they get a HUGE cut of the sale!

    $1 million?? Please, have you been reading the members meeting notes? It’s been stated several times it will be anywhere from $4M to $5.5M. Now do the math. It will be about $5K assessment for me. (4 weeks owner)
    Anybody want 3 weeks same room ground floor???

    I’d like to know how they came up with that figure!! Let’s see an itemized list of what was done to room 129. (P.S. “We are still waiting for the drapes”). LOL

    It’s just a big $$$ grab…hold on to your wallet or purse MORE FEES TO COME!!
    And the member of the board who made the motion, not one word of explanation by him. To quote a certain politician…”you have to pass the motion before you read it”!!

    Just think of the one day rental fee of $35 as your VERY GENEROUS contribution to help keep ABC maintenance fees lower. Thank you!!

    The online rental form now asks for your credit card # to charge you the $35 fee. Non-refundable if the rental goes sour by the way.

    The new fee breaks down to $5 per day. So how does the BOD justify $35 for a 1 night rental? Not well thought out.

    We do the work by filling out the form online. They put the email in the owners folder that has the renters name on it. That will be $35 please.
    Oh, and it’s nonrefundable by the way.
