I do so enjoy your slanted view of listening skills. I love the idea of granite, it will last for a generation. And no Olga, a few cracked tiles are not acceptable. I love how you know the condition of every room in our home away from home.. How is that Olga??

I await the convocation meeting minutes from the board we have voted in.

And I do not care about rumors.

chuckle chuckle.. back to your scheduled readings!!

I agree with all that has been said, but some people want to make 2 payments. I rent my Nov rooms out early some years.

I will allow 2 payments, but if I do not receive a 2nd payment, then the first payment becomes non refundable.

Thanks Kandy, I do know that the prepaid cards aka gift Visa Cards are only good in the US.

I like to bring cash for our housekeepers, and when I go outside “tourist” areas as they always appreciate small bills.

Kandy, do the banks in Aruba offer for sale “pre-paid” Visa cards? I am charged when I use my debit card in Aruba and hence have in the past carried travelers checks or cash or both.

    Thanks.

I just finished reading the minutes from the latest Board meeting, one item caught my eye and I just want to clarify what I read.

Just before the adjournment of the meeting a statement was made that anyone other than owner/co-owner of record using that week in that unit will be required to pay the $35 fee.

It confused me as I thought the owner was required to pay the fee upon notifying the Club that owner will not be occupying it.

Also, what is the club charge to remove a name from a deed upon someone’s death and adding another family member to it. I am asking about two weeks ownership.

    Thanks.

I have done what you are asking. I usually rent on Kandi’s list and have always had quick results. And I believe the club can rent nights out rather than the whole week so one or two nights may rent which would prevent you from renting the whole week.

Troubles have occurred when 2 parties show up for the same room.

I received the email, responded and got my return response within one hour.

Thank you for allowing me to keep me private!!

Olga. 😆 really?? again?? How quickly you forget the board before our current one. And this is the first maintenance increase in a few years, get over it. Stop complaining, that’s all you seem to do anywhere you can post!!

When units are rented they must be entered manually as they are not in the computers previously. Here is a suggestion, if you are SOOOOOOOOO UNHAPPY, SELL YOUR UNITS and go bother some other resort on Aruba, I’m sure they would love to meet you.

If you are renting your unit out for one night, is there still a $35 fee assessed, the same as it would be if you did one week OR five weeks in the same room?? That doesn’t seem quite equitable either. Also, does this apply to confirmations for 2018 that have already been processed and received?

This was answered in the other post right below this one. If you have confirmation from the club for your private rental then you will not be charged. This is effective on all rentals starting today.

The same amount of time and paperwork to do one night is the same as one week, so yes its fair. What I see happening is the rental price is going to go up. But as we are still the lowest time share in cost on the island I think its fair. It rarely takes me more than 3 days to rent my units.

Does this administrative fee apply to those units whose paperwork has already been submitted for later this year?

    Thanks.
